Originally from Bordeaux, Xavier started as a Pre- Apprentisageat the age of 13 at his sister's salon. After doing an Apprentisage at Lolita Coiffure, Xavier received his CAP and BP degrees from Albert Premiere in Bordeaux. There his talent and technique attracted the attention of Alexandre Zouari. Xavier worked for Alexandre Zouari both in Paris and in Cannes doing fashion shows,catering to royalty and film stars for the Cannes Film Festival as well as the local French. In 1997 Xavier moved to America, drawn to the East End of Long Island and its beauty,and started to work toward the concept of Salon Xavier. Xavier looked for the perfect space that would be harmonious and accessible and found it in his present location.
